The air conditioning system and the structure of thermo-hygrostat
Down flow system
It’s the system that free access floor is installed on the floor that the computer room is already set and then duct for air conditioning is used between them. It has the following features as the method to supply cool air from the lower part by putting a diffuser on the panel of the free access floor.
- Efficiency and distribution of air current are good because the airconditioning air is directly supplied to the machine.
- Efficiency and distribution of air current are good because airconditioning duct is not installed in the room.
- Any extension or movement of the lower part of the floor is easy because the whole one is the air conditioning duct.
- Wiring work of the computer is easy
Up Flow System
As it is installed in the computer room and precise measurement room, air is directly sent from the upper part of thermo-hygrostat into the room by duct. It has the following features.
- Distribution of air current in the room should be careful.
- It is suitable for the small-sized system. And it is not proper in the large-sized system as the working environment can be deteriorated because air volume is too much and uniform air-conditioning is impossible.
- The facility cost of air conditioning is a little bit cheaper than the one of the Down flow system.
AIR COOLED SYSTEM
- It’s the method that removes heat as outdoor air changes the heat which is absorbed from the room
- There is no concern of freeze and burst in winter and repair and maintenance are easy.
- There are differences according to models. And use is difficult because of deterioration of oil-return and ability when the length of copper tubes is more than 15m.
WATER COOLED SYSTEM
- It’s the method which removes heat by exchanging cooled water in the water cooling tower with heat which is absorbed from the room.
- If you neglect management in winter, there can be concern of freeze and burst.
- It’s the model which can display the cooling ability to the maximum
WATER COOLED SYSTEM
- The method which removes heat in the room is similar with the water cooling system but it’s all weather type which prevents freeze
- Burst of water pipes in winter by using antifreeze called ethylene glycol.
WATER COOLED SYSTEM
- It’s the indirect expansion system which removes heat by exchange the cooled water by cooling it with it, not the direct expansion system which removes it by exchange refrigerant with it directly.
- It can supply cold air into the room using duct and keep temperature and humidity by supplying cooled water into the room directly.
